Lalibela Game Reserve's Mark's Camp is a gem that exceeded all my expectations this Christmas. From the moment we arrived, treated to a fantastic welcome drink, the warmth of the staff, especially the delightful M bAli and her team, made us feel right at home. Our tree-top lodge was breathtaking, with a balcony offering incredible views of the African bush, and every meal was a feast, with hearty breakfasts and delightful dinners shared by the fire with fellow guests. What truly stood out was our ranger, Sivi, whose profound knowledge brought the wildlife experience to life; spotting four of the Big Five on our first drive was just magical. The game drives were thrilling, and the chance to enjoy the infinity pool overlooking the watering hole was the cherry on top! If you're seeking an authentic safari experience wrapped in eco-friendly luxury, Mark's Camp is definitely the place to be.
